Journey Templates
Journey Templates are blueprints that outline content and action items to a specific group of candidates to create an individualized experience.
Example: Software engineers might get different information then sales interns.
Recipients
Any contact who is enrolled into an Abode journey.
Example: Recipients can be interns, new hires, hiring managers, mentors, and more. Recipients can be enrolled into multiple journeys (i.e. talent community, keep warm, mentor/mentee) depending on how an organization chooses to engage its community.
Journeys
Once a Journey Template is complete with all the information you want to share, you will enroll recipients to embark on their Journey. Journeys are templates in action!
Step Delay Mode
The cadence in which steps in your Journey are delivered to recipients can be set in one of three ways:
- Fixed Date
- End Date
- Custom Delay
Steps
Steps are created around the information you want candidates to receive throughout their Journey. Steps are completely customizable and there is no limit to the number of steps you can include in a Journey Template.
Common Components
Common components are the building blocks of each Step. They can take the form of a
- Text box
- Content (image, photo, video, gif)
- Survey
- Checklist
- Button (external link)
- Candidate File Upload
Saved Components
Saved components originate as Common components and can be saved for use across other Steps and Journey Templates.
Notifications
Acting as an ad hoc Step, create a Notification if you want to send out communication to all recipients, regardless of their progress within a Journey. Notifications are not assigned to Steps and will display on a recipient’s Journey the next time they log into their portal.
Resource Center
The Resource Center houses content, resources, and FAQs for recipient use within a journey. The Resource Center is accessible to your recipients at all times during their Journey. The sections include External Links, a Document Library, and your company’s FAQ which can be accessed through your Settings.
Uploading Recipients to the Platform
There are three ways to add recipients to the platform:
- Manual input
- CSV upload
- ATS integration
Candidate Profiles
After enrollment, recipients must claim their Journey. Once this occurs, you will be able to view their Profile which captures overall Journey Progress and specific engagement data for Steps and Notifications across all Templates a Recipient may be enrolled in.
Candidate Risk Assessment
Housed on your Dashboard, the Risk Assessment tile displays a default, aggregate view of all recipients progress across journeys broken out by risk factor, which can be customized.
