One of the methods available to import recipient records into the Abode platform is via CSV upload. Follow the below guide to make uploading recipients a smooth process.
Formatting Your File
Wherever your recipient information originates from, take the below steps to create a file ready to be uploaded:
Step 1: Start with a blank Excel or Google Sheets file
Step 2: Label your Column Headers
"First Name" (cell A1)
"Last Name" (cell B1)
"Email" (cell C1)
"Phone", optional (cell D1)
Step 3: Input your data
- Make sure you don't include extra spaces after names or email address
- Phone numbers should be in the following format:
- Eleven digits: 1XXXXXXXXXX
- NO hyphens, spaces, or parenthesis
Your file should look like this:
Step 4: Double check all your recipients are listed
Step 5: Save or Download your file as a Comma Separated Values (.csv) file
